Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I saw Hell on Wheels the whole way through finally. I was moved by the quote the historian made regarding cycling being the only sport that ennobles its audience. Would someone please write the script from that section of the movie for me here or post a link if it is written somewhere online? I have been unable to find it.

Starting around 1:00:50:
"The atheletes come to the audience on the Tour and treat them like nobility. And the whole thing's free! The riders come to you. Hinault, Lapize, Indurain and Armstrong come to you, the regular guy, the loser, the metro commuter. Cycling is the only sport that ennobles its audience."
