I own a J3-Kitten and could fly a couple folks with their bikes.
the range/speed isn't too great but I'm not willing to upgrade. Plan on selling it and getting an Amfib in the future anyhow.

The heck with the 747 - too much environmental damage. We need someone rich enough to set us up with fun jobs, free housing in monolithic domes in a farm complex, with geothermal heating, solar and wind electricity, good wells, high speed internet, access to bike trails and a network of low-traffic roads.

As for Travolta, I think he owns a 707 that he parks at his house, but I'm almost positive that he is qualified in 747's and was one of the pilots on a Quantas pr trip around the world.

There are a lot of 747's, supposedly just outside of Tuscon, at the Davis Monthan(sp) storage facility.

DM is the military boneyeard. There's several civilian ones in the desert southwest, however.

How hard can that be? I've seen both Faceoff and Broken Arrow. Jerry Bruckheimer could've written better...well no, I guess he's one person definitely could not have, but he could've come close for once. Anyway, either Travolta got good money out of those or he's not particularly discriminating of screenwriting quality.

Actually, it wasn't really the writing or even the plot of that movie that turned me off as much as the fact that I just don't like Travolta or Cage.

A friend of mine flies a Hercules, i could talk to him and see what he could do for us :)

I didn't realize the Soviets ever did anything more than fly their ground-effect craft in big circles.
