Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I was actually just trying to find some info on Azuki bicycles when I came across this website:

Very cool! Thanks!
Speaking of which, I was in Tokyo about a month ago and visited the "Edo Tokyo Museum". They had a really neat bicycle collection on display. Many were old Japanese bicycles. True to Japanese form, even the old bikes had some inovative gadgets on them.
So did anyone ever find anything on Azuki bikes from the 70's?

Nope, other than they were Nishiki's re-badeged lower end models, I believe.

I've got one, possibly interested in parting with her, she has little to no miles on her, all origional parts except tires, clips, seat, interesting piece of history.

This (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nishiki_%28bicycle%29) should help in your Azuki search, although I suspect you've already seen it.
