General Cycling Discussion - Just lurking...

Hi guys,

sorry I haven't been posting, but what with the recent move to Kent (this is an MTB mecca!!...pictures to follow soon) and things hotting up at work, I haven't had a chance to get in here.

I'm also off to Malta for two weeks starting this weekend, meeting up with my Fiancee's familiy...:eek:...keep your fingers crossed on that one.

Quick news is that I've now got the Kona Hei Hei frameset at home, and can't wait to build her up...and also, the trains from Tonbridge (where I'm now living) to London have bike lock ups, so I'm cycling from home to the station, and from the station to work, round trip of about an hour, and it feels great!!!

I'm a little disappointed with the standard of cyclists in London, and have seen many jumping red lights, and taking unecessary risks...it's certianly an education riding in the city!

Anyway...hope you are all well, and in the famous words of Arnie...."I'll be back...!"

Happy to see you back, Rich. I figured you were busy with the move to Kent. Hope you have a totally successful Maltese sojourn, and we will all await your bike photos, too! Be careful on your commutes.

Good hearing from you Rich. Put up a photo of the Kona once you've got it built up. Hopefully you're not planning on using that bike for commuting.;)

Nope, I'll be saving the Kona for offroad and stuff. I guess I'll switch to the Cross bike for my commute, and get ready for the up and coming Cross season.

Geez, it was going really well...both Uncle Vic, and Aunty Mave are really nice people...then the other thousand people (cousins, sons, daughters) came along, and it was like a scene out of the Godfather film!!!!
