I am looking at getting my second folder (already have a Dahon Speed) and was wondering about all the comments about non-standard parts. I am looking to get a frame that I can modify at will to try configurations just for fun. Which folder manufacturer designs bikes that use the most standard parts like bottom brackets, hub sizes, stems, handlebars, seat posts, etc.?

Thanks

I would say from the general consensus of this site that a Swift - Xootr or steel original, or a cheap-n-cheerful Downtube would be the frames you'd be looking for. People do allsorts to both and seem happy whether it's a touring, speed or fixie they end up building.
