Thought I would share some photos of the new ride

Great to see your pictures, ndbentrider.

It'd probably be easier, though, if you just posted all your pics into one thread rather than starting a new thread for each photo.

I'll post your other pics here for you.

Thanks mediaCreations - do you simply add on to the initial jpg in the same location?

Ohhhh pretty, Bacchetta builds a nice clean frame. And you have it built up with some real nice go fast parts. So what do you think of the bike so far?

Finest looking welds on a bent I've seen. And Chris King headset, too! Sweet! But, whoa, that water bottle mount! How the heck do you reach for a sip while riding!

Perish the thought... but how do you lock it up?

Awesome ride man! Say is that a Camel Bak trapped to the back opf the seat? If it is which model are you using? Or is it a differant hydration system?

A new company in Colorado called FastBack Designs makes recumbent-specific seat bags and hydration packs, including models that fit RANS, Bacchetta, and M5 seats. See RANS/Bacchetta seat items here:

Yes I have a camel back - Lobo (?)need a real seat bag for the commute - The water bottle mounts are for various battery locations for the lights - I have since switched to the front of the bike. Some of the seat bags I have seen provide space for hydration systems. I am still working on getting used to frogs up front - intersections on my commute are a bit of a challenge for the clipless pedal - I am getting there though - my avg. speed is definitely increasing. So far so good - looking forward to getting on some long rides and some hill work to see how it feels.
