SART observations

Someone in my office said that in the O.C. Register there was an article about some robberies on the SART recently. Also this weekend on Saturday I noticed a motorcycle police going south on SART from Angel's Stadium.

I often see motorcycle guys and cop cars on the SART. I don't think that's anything new.

Haven't heard anything about robberies though.

I saw a police motorcycle on SART afew weeks ago. We were resting at the park next to the golf course and saw him cruise by. I also saw a fire truck on the path last summer. :) Boo on the crime though... :(

A few months ago a motor cop passed us on the path (missing us by about a foot) coming up behind us at what I would guess to be about 50 mph and accelerating hard, about double our speed. We were in a paceline and came VERY close to going down, scared the siht out of us! I do hate to say this, but some cops are absolute idiots. Most of the time when I see cops on the trail I'm usually pleased though.
