I'm new to the forum and posting for a first time. I starting road riding early last year with a beat up vintage Gitane with cranks that creak like a goat, so I dubbed it La Chevre Fache. I rode that goat all summer up the hilliest rides I could find in my area and got myself into good class B/C condition. Currently, I'm building a new ride for myself- Coppi Campionissimo frame with a mix of Campy components and I can't wait to complete the build and get out on it. Compared to the goat this new bike I'm sure will feel like riding on air.

Would love to hear about any good rides (routes or groups) that any members can suggest. Glad to be a part of this cycling community!

The cycling in the Bucks County area is great, especially if you like hills. Two clubs to check out are http://www.suburbancyclists.org/ and http://www.cbbikeclub.org/. If you really like hilly there is always the Tour De Tinicum, http://www.dvvfc.org/ which has you spending your time just going up and down the hills alongside the Delaware River.
