I don't know if you're into mountain biking or road, but if mountain biking is what you're looking for check out http://www.wors.org/news/. The bulletin board has topics covering the racing series, training, etc. WORS (Wisconsin Off Road Series) is the largest statewide mountain bike series in the country.
