Will it go?
I don;t mind a bit of bending.
I've got an old carbon frame which is proving extremely ammenable to being converted to a collapsible tourer. I've cut it and can fix it back together in an ad-hock, DIY way (though it's based on a sound design).
All I'd like is to replace the old steel 5speed wheels with alloy 7 speed MTB wheels (mainly for weight - airlines and all that, but also for the added gearing).
Anyone know if it will fit?
Also, how about mounting a modern deurallier on it (it has no mount) I seem to remember you could get adaptors (though this was a while back).
If it doesn;t work, then I suspect I'm looking at an SA (which I like, but which could be a bit hard going in the Black forest (my intended next tour).
