....Well I went with the Klein Q- carbon and I must say so far I am as thrilled as could be. As I discussed in an earlier post I was waiting for the new stem and narrower bars, these both made all the difference in the world, the bike is an incredible fit. I ended up paying $1400 for the whole deal and even though it's not 105 through and through I feel like I got a great deal, a bike with an amazing frame and room for upgrades when I want to go that route.
I did 22 miles on Saturday in pretty windy and chilly conditions and 36 miles yesterday with perfect weather. These being my first rides I was a tad apprehensive about soreness and discomfort not to mention Vermont hills but I had nothing to fear. It was an amazing experience!! I was comfortable and had no problems at all. In fact at the end of yesterday I felt I could have easily done another 10-15 easily, I like that feeling. The response of the Klein on hills is amazing, you ask and it just goes. The only problem is now all I can think about is when I can get on the bike next!!!
