I had a wireless VDO that had started giving me problems before it got to cold, it hasn't worked since late fall. So I got a new computer that did work but not today. I got a Cat Eye wireless. It was 30*F out this morning. Could it be interference from the light or is it the temps?
The light is a HID with a battery pack.

Did it record the distance you rode? Or was it just a display issue?
LCDs rarely work at low temps regardless of what computer they are mounted to. My cateye was sort of displaying my speed this morning at -15C, but it was faint and slow to update.
Went and got the comp. at lunch... no record... well it recorded 8 minutes out of an hour and 20 minute ride.
The suspicion now falls on the HID.
