Looking for info on Look bicycles. Searching on "Look" in titles yeields no results. I'm assuning that look is a common word that the search system is set to ignore. Can it be fixed?

I don't know if it can be fixed, but if it does get fixed, you'd get all sorts of garbage in your search results.
Try the following search (modified as appropriate) in Google:
look 585 site:bikeforums.net

I also know there's a lower limit on the length of word that the database indexes for searching functionality. I thought it was 3 characters, but I did a search for a number of 'common' words with four letters and I got the same 'no results found' message. If you want to use BikeForums search, try doing "Look 585" in quotes (or what ever other popular model) and you should get a fairly good result set with minimal missing items.

You can't search for "look" but you can look for "search."

That's why I was asking about the possibility or searching in "titles". In most instances it would refer to Look products.

I'll remove the word look from the common words database, but I wont be able to re-index the forums until next week.
