Hey gang,

Gearing up for my first tri. Got a good 20 lap swim in today :)

Thoughts on the one piece "U-shaped" aero bar vs. two individual bars?

Any preference? Any difference?

Thanks

I have a one peice, and it seems to work just fine. The one thing I would mention, is make sure that you have the proper reach on the bars. What i mean, is that you need to make sure that the ends of the bars are far enough out infront of your normal bars so that when riding in the aero position, your hands are in a comfortable position. I found that when I fist bought mine, I felt like I had to break my wrists to keep my hands in a reasonable position on the ends of the bars.

If you can afford two, go with that for adjustability reasons.

Two-piece, definitely, you want to be able to adjust the width your elbows are apart to suit both aero and comfort.
