Southern California - SO CAL Ladies Night- Oh What a Night!

Fellow Lady Cyclists in ALL regions – the So Cal gals are craving a little action in the form of Ladies Night. Time to hang up your jerseys and cleats and slip into your silk and slingbacks! Let me know if you would like to join, even if it is for just part of the evening. Also, please weigh in on dates. I’m thinking it has to be a Saturday night due to all of the riding taking place. ALL women, ALL ages (must be over 21) are welcome!

The poll is multiple choice, so pick as many as you’d like and I’ll work something up. Brandy will be contacted and her votes assessed as well, so do not worry – she will not be left out! (no way, no how…we got to pep that gal up!).

I'm in, if only for an early-evening shindig. (Sorry, Sundays are reserved for early training so I have to go nite-nite early.) Feb. 23 date is the Tour of CA weekend. I'll be on my way back from Solvang so that date's a no-go. The March dates look good.

Lots of thrift stores around, jschen, and Rite-Aid and CVS have inexpensive make-up. Besides, you're half way there already. Most the bike guys I know already shave their legs, and I know at least one who has a nice poodle skirt . . . .

ME -- I'm in for either LA or OC, but can't offer a couch, and don't need a place to day -- the only option NOT offered in your poll. But I'm up for any fun we can collectively devise!!

PS It is interesting how boys will start a "He-Man Wummun Hater's Club," and as soon as the GIRLS start a "No Boys Allowed Dress-up and Tea Party," the boys are crashing the door to get in. Must go watch that "Little Rascals" movie again . . . .

Let me clarify. This is not a NO man get together. Once we decide what we're doing, if there are some "gentlemen" who wish to meet us, they might receive the info for where we might be. But my plan is design the evening (with respect to the voting) and then PM all of you women who said you can come. Then, some of the "gentlemen" might be PMed the info if they want to come (and buy us drinks and act as body guards) - but only if the ladies all are okay with it through private PM (I really am hoping for us women to bond and get to know one another - AND I'm hoping some women who may be lurking will consider coming. I'd love to meet more female cyclists on here). But I certainly do not belong to any "man-hating" club. I think it's quite obvious how I feel about the hairier of the two sexes. ;) :D

i voted, but realized i am a dumba$$ and click on both need a couch and can offer a couch in LA - oops, i should really learn to read more closely! I live in Hermosa Beach (walking distance to the pier and lots of beach bars, but far from the LA scene) and can offer a sofa bed.

Here's an idea.. I bought these new shoes and haven't found anywhere to wear them.
