Mountain Biking - Just thought I'd share a little drool factor....

ooomph!

The bike shop employees weren't lying when they said Chris King headsets are the best ever. I installed this bad-boy on Sunday, and have put about 2 hours of use on it... with ZERO problems, and the smoothest damn steering front end I've *ever* felt in my life. It's absolutely AMAZING how much better it feels than my old Aheadset "Tank". Oh good lord.

I just thought I'd share another "happy customer" story...

Naww. Its not the steelset.

It's a King "Nothreadset".

I can't use a Steelset on this frame because it has a "Lip" on the inside of the headtube... where the tube gets BIGGER than 1 1/8" after the cups. So... 1/2 of the Steelset would be "floating in space" ... instead of being up against metal.

No, the headset is what changed. Now I just gotta change em all over to carbon spacers... so it all matches and looks "polished off".

I'll show a nice "up to date" full bike shot as soon as my new tires get here. My rig looks pretty shabby right now with a little 2.5" front tire, and a 3.0" huge "motorcycle tire" on the back. :D

Nice color choice :) I'm on my second King now...I would still have my original from years and years ago, but I sold it with a frame.

It'll work great long after the 2 hour mark! :D
