Just curious to see if men really do prefer longer hair on women. Since the first hair-chameleon I could think of is Jennifer Aniston, I'm posting some of her pics so that we have a point of reference.

I don't care for really long hair. Beyond that, I don't have a strong preference. Some girls are hot with short hair; some look good with it longer.

Of the pictures shown, I think I like the long and wavy the most.

But I voted for "All of the above" because I really don't care how a woman's hair looks, it could be any of those styles and still look great.

It's all good to me.

The only thing I hate....is dyed hair (which is ALWAYS noticeable). Just keep it natural....you don't need a different hair color for every season.

Depends entirely on the woman and what best compliments her face/form/personality.

+1 I see so many girls with weird hair colors. I think they'd look a lot better if they just left it natural. Some highlighting is ok, but I'm talking about girls with like green or blue or red hair...weeeeird....

Long. It can be straight, wavy or whatever else, but it should be long.

it's such an individual thing that it's very hard to say. i do kinda like the shorter choppy cut though.

PS - my vote is for all of the above. I used to be anti-dyed hair, but honestly it doesn't bother me any more - in fact, I think it can definitely be an enhancement in the right situation, wild colors and all.

I didn't want to be a barber anyway. I wanted to be... a lumberjack!
Leaping from tree to tree as they float down the mighty rivers of British Columbia! The Fir! The Larch! The Redwood! The mighty Scots Pine! The plucky little Aspen! The great limping rude tree of Nigeria! The smell of fresh-cut timber! The crash of mighty trees! With my best gal by my side, we'd sing, SING...

My only real problem with dyed hair is people that make their hair look like Jennifer Aniston or whoever that lady is in the OP. It's soooo overdone. Highlgihts are really nice especailly if done properly.

+1 on the hair has to match the face and the person. That said, I rarely see a woman's face that doesn't look good in moderately long hair. However many that look bad with shorter hair.

Happyfeet knows my opinion on this, so I have no fear in stating it for the record. ;)

I prefer a women to have hair first and foremost! Although Demi Moore looked pretty good without hair!

I've dated women with short hair as well as various degrees of long hair. I prefer long a few inches below the shoulders the best. Some wave or curls are nice, in fact I love naturally curly hair, but my last GF had very long straight beautiful hair. The one before that... slightly past chin length style. I like it all. Except the hair that's so long that it is donwn to a women's +ss. That does nothing for me.

If we wanted to be really tricky posting images, I bet we could even do the Semaphore version of Wuthering Heights!

Overall, I like the long and wavy best, but it really is highly individual, and most women's hair looks fantastic anyway.

depends on the woman's facial structure.....some women look incredible with shorter hair, and others look better with long hair.

Myself I love hair down to the shoulderblades...too often women with shoulderblade elength hair have made my jaw drop pretty darn hard....and probably shall for a good long time.

I heart super-short hair on girls. Some of my most attractive friends have pixie cuts, I love it.

Of course, as stated earlier, I also like long hair, and so on.

Sometimes I wish girls would concentrate less on trying to BECOME beautiful, and more on BEING beautiful. If that makes any sense at all. Translated: Just do your own thing and be happy!

about the hair-- really doesn't matter as long as it is flattering to the woman.

It's ok, as long as your into girls ;)

I thought I'd made myself clear on that earlier. :p

Anyways, back on the topic, I used to have long hair down to my butt. I loved it. But i think in a lot of ways I was using it to hide parts of me that I didn't care for. "Maybe if they looked at my long hair, they woudln't notice so and so...maybe if they looked at *ahem* they wouldn't look at so and so..." and so forth. Last year I cut it shorter than I have had in a long time, and I have to say, I'm kinda digging the shorter thing. It's still long enough to satisfy that long hair urge and I can still put it up in a ponytail, do the chopstick thing, and all that.

I was dancing for some friends one night soon after I first cut it. One of my closer freinds commented on it and said that he couldn't figure out why I looked so different...and then he realized that he'd never seen my back before! :) Now the role of my hair is kind of reversed from what it used to be. Now, if it was long, I feel like it would be hiding a part of me that I don't want hidden anymore! I kind of like having my back be visible now. :)

I'm a sucker for long hair. The longer the better. But I appreciate that I'm not the one who has to maintain the hair, so I don't complain if it's not long.
