Sheesh and we thought the Santa Barbara ride was cursed!! Hope everyone feels well and has a great ride! If not, we'll come up with some alternatives on the fly.

what a great group....m.e., magicant, scootcore and the fixer.....and fast, too.

i just got home. i was at the redondo beach pier before 7:00am and happytime stops by on her triathlon run training. we're talking and then the group shows up at 7:10. restroom stop for them, a few pictures taken by m.e., happytime bids "adieu" and takes off to continue her run and the rest of us are blazin' down the road. we get to the huntington beach pier by 10:00am and i turn around to come back so i can get to the bike shop to pick up my new bike. 20mph headwinds all the way back blows goats, by the way. 66 miles total for me.

awesome ride with the gang...i can't wait to do it again. :D

Glad to hear that all went well...

You guys were in my thoughts yesterday.
After my training ride-run, I went home and showered/changed, did a photo shoot at Hollywood Park, did some grocery shopping, a load of laundry, took a nap, made a bunch of business calls, drove to Santa Anita with a pit stop at Helen's Cycles, cheered when my client's filly won a big race, drove home, picked up dinner at Giuliano's, looked at the clock ... and realized YOU WERE STILL RIDING!!! That's so awesome. You guys are my heroes. :D

It was a pleasure meeting both Happytime and I am The Edge at the pier! Thanks to both of you for coming out in the morning to meet us. It was also nice for The Edge to continue riding with us to Huntington Beach before he had to turn around.....I think he was barely getting warmed up when we started out from Redondo. Joy was already all warmed up after swimming from pier to pier & continued on with her training. Awesome! :)
And Indolent58, thanks so much for riding up from La Jolla to meet us in Dana Point and riding back with us! It was so nice meeting you too! :D
