Dear all,
Just made a decision to switch from HT to FS and looking for advice what to get before snow come off.
I’m 5’8/170cm 154lb/70kg, mostly doing regular XC rides, no races, no jumping, no the way technical trails. Unfortunately test runs are not possible due to the luck of bikes in LBS, so it is hard to choose one.
Hopefully I’ll get just a frame and put on all parts from my current custom HT and keep the weight up to 12-13kg. Otherwise I’ve get a bike and sell out crap pieces.
Here is a list of bikes will be available in next two month (hope, hope, hope…):
Giant Anthem/Trance
Jamis Dakar XC
Iron Horse MkIII/Azur
Specialized Epic
Haro, Kona, Santa Cruz , GF(do not know FS XC models)
Generally speaking they all are same price range so what will be your advice not taking on account the cost?
Not sure Anthem is OK ‘cause it’s a really race machine.
