I'll be in SD from 2/20 - 2/26 for Cyclo-core boot camp (Christmas gift from my wife). We finish on 2/25 at 11:00. It looks like SD is about 100 miles from Long Beach. I thought I read somewhere the stage would finish around 3:00. So is it possible to get from SD to Long Beach in time for the stage finish and maybe a little racing? Also any help with directions and where the heck to go would be great as well.

Depending on where in SD you are starting from get onto the 805 or the 5 and head north until you get to the 5/405 interchange (exit on the right) where you would get onto the 405 all the way into Long Beach.

Look for a thread in the SoCal forums about meeting up for a ride to the event because parking will be a nightmare.

I'll also be able to show you the pedals attached to the bike!
