Bicycle Mechanics - gt idrive

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I just overhauled my bike and let me tell you the i drive is so simple to clean, repack and/or repair if anyone ever needs some help pm me and i can walk you through it!
I have a GT XCR-4000 and I also took apart, cleaned and re-greased the i-drive unit. It is a simple design but you got to be careful not to over-tighten the bearings and not to damage the super narrow seals.

I have a GT i-drive 1.0 that makes a very noticable clicking noise when I ride - it get worse when I climb hills. I have cleaned it and lubed it very well, changed the pedals but the clicking noise is still present and seems to be getting worse. Anyone have a suggestion?
