Dave Z: Well, flat is flat, obviously. It’s not like a mountain day, that’s for sure. A mountain day is like 15 or 16 thousand feet of climbing…that’s a lot."

I agree. That course would saw our legs off, but they rolled over it quite easily.

It's another reason why the Amgen Tour is a popular place for these guns to start the season.

I think Z's wife might be his high school sweetheart. She is a looker for sure. See attached pic shot before final stage of Tour of California in Redondo Beach last year. All these ladies posing with Bobby Julich were Davey Z's entourage, Zabriskie had already slipped away to avoid the attention I think. Their shirts all said "Zabriskie" on the back.
