What a downer. I was totally under whelmed. If this is the same kind of store they are opening in Plano, PC and RBM have ABSOLUTELY nothing to worry about.

Are they just putting the stores close the competition?

I just saw this on my FWBA email from a member who went there to check it out:

"I got the same reply today. Their Performance Club membership cost
$25 per year for which you get a 10% discount. That means you have
to spend $250 to break even. Doesn't seem a good deal to me.

After trying on some clothes, I sat down on the changing room bench
to tie my shoes and got up with varnish on the seat of my pants from
the fresh paint job. I complained to the same manager who didn't
seem to care. Had to ask her for a plastic bag to sit on to drive
home. Some of the staff are absolutely clueless about biking and
bike gear. Colonels, where I bought my bike, doesn't have all the
stuff, but Rick and Doug are lots nicer and have taken great care of
me and my ride."

As usual, Fort Worth gets the short end of the stick. The stores in Dallas are staffed by Chippendales dancers and Hooters girls. They serve you drinks while you shop, have free valet parking for cars and bikes, and when they noticed a spot on my pants, which was there before I got there, they sent them out to be cleaned!!!

JK, never set foot in their store. Do not expect much when I finally do. RBM is going to be hard to beat.
