Classic & Vintage - Colnago superissimo build

I recently bought a nos Colnago frame that I'd like to build up over the next couple months. I plan on building it up with a mixture of old campy parts, new shimano etc., and some beater parts I have lying around.

Can anyone tell me what Campy front derailleur I'd want to use with this?

Any suggestions for affordable cranks and rings? and what spindle length will I need?

dake13 here's what I'd do.
first a few questions,
how old is the bike? what is the rear spacing ( 126mm or 130mm or if really old 120) ?
we need pictures here.
But what I'd do is build it full campagnolo gruppo.
A bike like that should be Super Record gruppo unless your going to build
with modern ERGO gruppo.
There is no difference in the Nuovo Record and Super Record crank arms, the difference
is the chainrings, and you can get those on ebay for less than $100.
spindle for BB will depend on the BB cups you use, check out Bicycle Classics they have
a good BB chart (as does Phil Wood).

Hey marty, thanks for the tips. The frame is an early 80s pink/white (!). I believe the rear spacing is 130 mm, or at least, it's supposed to be able to take 130 mm without any problems. I would like to build it up with vintage campy, but finances might not permit that for a while - it's something I could do over the course of a year, maybe. I was thinking do a campy drivetrain and try to dial in the fit as good as possible, with stem length and such, and then do the rest later. For wheels I was thinking whatever decent for less than $200. I'm about 200 lbs (fit, not fat) so I need strong wheels. I have a corsor saddle on order, so that's cool. I'll check out the sites you mentioned, thanks for the tips!
