Windproof underwear? How to keep the boys warm......

I've been wearing an insulated sock inside my cycling shorts, around the package, when the temps get below freezing. It works, but it gets to be a pain, always shifting around. I've heard some others in the forums talk about "windproof underwear". I can't find a link anywhere, and I don't seem to be able to find any. I ride even when it's down to 0 f. How does everyone keep the nethers warm? I don't have a problem with legs getting cold, so I don't really need another set of pants/leggings. Just something to keep the jewels warm. And yes, this is a serious question, anyone who rides much when it's below freezing knows what I'm talking about.

I have some cycling specific long shorts that are wicking and have a windproof panel in the genital area. They work great. However, if pelvic region is getting cold you probably aren't wearing enough layers or wind protection.

No, my pelvic region is fine. I'm just trying to figure out a way to keep the actual genitals warm without having to tuck a sock or something down there. Where did you get the shorts that you are referring to?

Put an adhesive toe warmer between your shorts and tights.

I got mine at the LBS. Made by Craft from Scandinavia.

They work pretty well. Kind of pricey but worth it.

I had a 3 mile ride with strong headwind the entire way today. I wore a pair of nylon shorts (the solid woven kind, not mesh) over my unders, under my outer layers. worked great for me. another idea might be to line one of your layers with mylar in that region.

I wore my Iceman pants for the first time on my 12 mile ride today and did not feel the cold at all. I ride past a 36 hole golf course that has the highest winds and my boys froze the last cold windy day with my bike tights so I decided today was a good day for the Iceman pants.:)

Have you tried thermal underwear or long johns , kinda expensive around 18 bucks for wool/poly but that is for extreme cold/extreme activity down to -40F or other mixture for milder weather and price. Or maybe get better pants those skiing, snowmobiling pants have windproof outershell, built in foam with poly liner which keeps you warm going 50mph+ but might not be all that comfortable biking since it's a bit bulky.
