There have been many books written on the subject. Whats your favorite. Mine is Eugene A. Sloan's 'The Complete Book of Bicycling'
As a side note I found a magazine clipping once which stated that ' ... Rain or shine, he commutes to work on his 15-speed bicycle--a 25 mile round trip each day.'
Whats with 15 speeds. 5x5 or 1x15 ? ? ?

What can I say. I'm an engineer. It's loaded with little tricks associated with getting the extra one or two percent out of a bike.

+1K !!! Love Kurmaskie's stuff!
I'm re-reading Metal Cowboy for about the fifth time right now; I read during work breaks/lunches, and MC just cuts to the heart of things.
Also have Armstrong's two bio-books. First one's better.
Currently, my Amazon wishlist is stuffed with bike books; one of these months,....

Quality Bicycle Products catalog.
They're probably the largest wholesale distributor of bike products in the US. I'm a shop manager so I have access to it.
