There have been many books written on the subject. Whats your favorite. Mine is Eugene A. Sloan's 'The Complete Book of Bicycling'

As a side note I found a magazine clipping once which stated that ' ... Rain or shine, he commutes to work on his 15-speed bicycle--a 25 mile round trip each day.'

When I was a kid in the seventies I saw the film 'breaking away' I then read my first ever book- Murry's guide to cycling. can still remember things I read and pics from that book. I think i might just google it and see what comes up

One I haven't seen in years -- How to Choose and Use a Bicycle Without Doing Something Dumb, by Peter Braddock.

Bicycling Science, 3rd Edition by David Gordon Wilson

What can I say. I'm an engineer. It's loaded with little tricks associated with getting the extra one or two percent out of a bike.

I'm re-reading Metal Cowboy for about the fifth time right now; I read during work breaks/lunches, and MC just cuts to the heart of things.

Also have Armstrong's two bio-books. First one's better.
