Anybody have a pair of these shoes? I've always liked the looks of them but couldn't see spending that kind of money. But an LBS has them for 40% off and I'm considering it. I've read the reviews at MTB review but would like to hear from someone here that has them.

I'm on the market for some shoes and I got to try the Sidis to compare them against all the other ones I tried. They were by far the most comfortable shoes I had tried so far. But again, like you said, I don't see spending that kind of cash for shoes ... anything more than $50 is too much for me. That's not including cleats!

I have a pair of 2's & 3's (I think, had them quite a while) and would buy them again. I bought both on sale and also think the retail is a bit steep. If you can get a pair that fits right for a good price, go for it. I think you'll love them. Mine get a lot of use, including getting wet and have held up better than I expected. There was a tip sheet in my box on how to take extra care of them. I put some seam sealer (for tents) on the stitching to protect them, put a little lube on the ratchet buckle from time to time and check the cleat bolts now & then. With a little care they'll last for years.

I have eagles, the warm weather version of the dominator 2's. They are awesome, hands down the most comfortable shoe I've tried, including carnacs, diadora's, etc.. They've lasted amazingly long as well. I've got around 7 years on mine.

You get what you pay for...

I have them and they are very comfortable. I run sidi genius shoes for road biking, so I wanted to stay in the same line for mountain. I got mine from a member here in mint condition for $100 I believe. What is the price after the 40% mark down?

Well, I bought 'em. $130 bucks seemed like a good price from what I've seen on the web. Still a lot for shoes but what the hell; you only live once. :)
I'm sure I'll ride MUCH faster now. ;)

Well, at least you didnt spend 150-200 bucks on bib shorts? That, I would have problems with.
