this wasnt sent out by the company but something that happened to me.
i have had the zipper pull on 3 different pearl izumi amfib products snap right off while i was zipping them up. the first was a pair of their amfib booties (http://www.nashbar.com/profile.cfm?category=137&subcategory=1219&brand=&sku=18652&storetype=&estoreid=&pagename=Shop%20by%20Subcat%3A%20Accessories%20%2D%20Cool%20Weather). i sent the pair back and nashbar (http://www.nashbar.com/index.cfm) was very friendly and help full in setting me up with a replacement. while waiting for it though the zipper pull on my pearl amfib tights (http://www.nashbar.com/profile.cfm?category=&subcategory=&brand=1611&sku=17005&storetype=&estoreid=&pagename=Shop%20by%20Brand%3A%20Pearl%20Izumi) snapped off. then after a week or so of using the new booties one of the pullies snapped on those as well!
the product itself is great but pearl should do something about their zippers. i was using them with care after the first one went only to find they are poor quality. thankfully, i have a cure...,.
take a paperclip and insert one end into the slot where the zipper snapped (i will post pics later in thread). twist the paperclip back to normal size and bag! a new zipper pull!
