Mountain Biking - titanium saddles???

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

ride your bike. don't do drugs. drink your milk. stay in school. listen to your parents.
At this point, I think the best option for him is to ride, far far away into a part of the bush he's never been to far away from any people. Then take a near fatal dose of acid.

Alex,
First of all I am very surprised that you are still posting here. The BF members have given you a lot of crap because of your massive amounts of posts. Some of them could have been solved by using the search function, reading the stickie posts, or by talking to your lbs. I know that when I first found BF I just lurked. I never really posted anything except in a few posts where I thought I could provide useful input. I have learned a lot through these guys just by lurking. You will find that the search function is your friend and that everyone likes you to spell out all of your words and make an attempt at correct grammer. It makes the posts easier to read and also you can read the post with out thinking what omglmao means. If you were to lurk here at BF you could learn a lot, visit cycling websites to find out the differences between SRAM and Shimano, and other components. Your LBS should be a friend of yours, the one I visit knows me and I usually only go there when I am on break from college. Your LBS should try to help you out, give you good advice, maybe scrounge for a cheap or part, and help with tech questions. Some of them will even sit there and talk to you for about 45 minutes about anything. If you tell them you have a budget and that you are looking for a certain part then it is usually pretty easy to pick out the part. On BF, if you give particulars if makes life easier. Take this thread for example, if you had said you were looking for a stiff saddle for under $40, and possible Ti rails, and then maybe shown that you had done your research by asking about a particular saddle that you found somewhere else. That would of saved yourself a lot of trouble and this thread probably wouldn't be 6 pages long. Use some of the cycling websites for information some favorites are:
JensonUSA, MTBR.com, Speedgoat, Performance Bike, Nashbar, Bikes Direct, and a few others that you can probably find. Perhaps this will make it a nicier environment for you and not as many people will make fun of you.
Also, not everyone is serious and some answers you will need to double check by doing your own research to verify it. We like to have fun here on BF.

This is unfortunately true sometimes, however you may rest assured my insider tips for super secret jump training techniques are the real deal. If you go back to page four and reread my post you will begin to see were the REAL truth of this thread lies.
My backstage pass into the world of pro jumpers is brought to you as a friendly gesture of friendliness. That's right, a friendly gesture of friendliness on an internet forum. I point this out to you in the hopes it will help you learn to pick out the few rare gems of wisdom hidden like corn in s@#$.
Looking at my exclusive real world techniques and the cold hard science that backs it up must be exciting! Someone is out there who knows Alex, someone who knows and cares enough to share these hush hush tips.

I think the jumping style that would work best for Alex is the one where you just barrel top speed into the jump stand up and lean WAY forward.
I promise you wont lawn dart yourself.
