Well, hello to everyone on the forum...I thought I would introduce myself, so here goes.

I live in Salt Lake City, UT...and the mountain biking here is AMAZING!!!:D I am addicted to Moab, I admit it...I cant stop.

I am the first to admit that I am nowhere near an exceptional mountain biker...I have been riding pretty continuous for about 2 years now...so still working on my skills. I am a bit crazy on the trail...like to launch off stuff...sometimes resulting in broken spokes, and popped tires. But hey!...you gotta have fun!

Other than biking, I am active in Rock Climbing, hiking, backpacking, softball...etc...anything that gets me outside basically

I work in the field of Biotechnology doing Process Design, and automation support.

Thats about it...if anyone wants to know more...you know where to find me!

Welcome!

I'm addicted to Moab too, I just got back from my SEVENTH trip out there (30th of April to 4th of May). How far is Salt Lake from Moab?

It's about six hours from here.

Laters!

Welcome to the forums, nice to see another local! I havent put any real miles on my mountain bike in the last two years due to a surgery, i can not wait to get back to the awesome singletrack around these parts.

I can make it to moab in under three and a half hours, great road riding in that area as well.

Traffic out and around SLC is the worst part of getting to Moab...but if you can avoid it (timing is everything)...you can get to Moab in about 4.5 hours...add at least an hour if you hit the traffic wrong.

Moab is the best biking...I love it down there. I will be heading that direction in just a couple weeks...May17th & 18th. Cant wait!!!
