Hello!

I got this bike from my father as a heritage (I hope I expressed myself right), and I don't now a thing about classic/old school racing bikes... So, I need help. Could someone help by telling me exact model, and how much is it valuable? All I can say that this is KTM Strada bike, but a monkey with tangarine and rollerblades could tell that from picture also!

Thanks in advance!
Cheers! Spu

I know KTM as an Austrian company that make motorcycles. Never knew they made bicycles too.

Sorry, that's all I got. Cleaned and lubed up I bet it would be a pretty nice ride. No idea what the frame's made of, but the components hanging on it don't really point to anything really high end.
A very nice looking bike though.

Edit: I found the link to the new Strada lineup:

The Sachs Huret rear derailleur, if original, indicates the bicycle is no older than 1983. it appears to be the low end Eco model. I don't know exactly when they ceased manufacturing this model. It was still being made as late as 1985, but had disappeared by 1989. So the bicycle is somewhere between 1983 and 1988.

Most of the features (stamped dropouts, swaged crankset, ECO derailleur) point to an entry level model, but the guick release skewers indicate it's probably not bottom of the line.
