Hi folks, I've been lurking for a while and thought it's time to come on out and join the fun. I usually check in on the Classic and Vintage, Framebuilders and other forums. I've been riding and working on bikes for over 30 years since I was a paperboy on my Peugeot U08. Currently riding a Sampson, a Trek 7900 and a couple of dumpster bikes that are just too fun to leave in the garage.

Thanks everyone for the good information and good vibe!

Hello Iowegian, I probably don't need to encourage you to visit the Classic & Vintage forum, then, do I? Oh, and you already have a red star, cool :D .

Just remember, pictures are mandatory!

We'll look forward to having you stop by and contribute to our knowledge base.

Welcome to BF!

Hey Welcome to Bikeforums.

Did you get the Sampson second-hand, or new? I often looked in their window when I was waiting for movies at the Chez Artiste. Boulder was an OK place to live for a few years, not my favorite, but I do miss some of the nice places like Trident, Sushi Tora, Peppercorn, LiquorMart, and cheap spaghetti night at the Gondolier. ;)

Greetings from South Boulder! Maybe we will bump into each other; I have been known to dumpster-dive every so often but my wife is making me do more dumpster-donating than diving these days.
