I've seen this commercial 3 or 4 times now. It is GM cars and they play the Meatloaf song "Let me sleep on it". I don't know if that's the real title but, I digress. Anyhoo, they flash pictures of different cars and trucks. If you see this, pay attention to the first few images. They show a car and a woman standing in front of a news stand. They then zoom in to the woman's face. Just behind her, on the rack you can see a magazine with the word "Cycling" prominently displayed in big white letters. Anyone else see this?

didn't notice it, but those Subaru commercials are great.

Roger that. I like the one with the Rally footage. The Mistubishi Evolution commercial is pretty cool too. Boy I wish I could afford that car.

Yeah, I've seen that. It is interesting...maybe even ironic...that bicycles are used in so many commercials to sell cars.

Particularly SUV's, but it's no surprise. Cycling, climbing, skiing, camping, it's all part of the rugged outdoorsy image they sell you in lieu of what you really need (which for most people is just a way to get to work and the grocery store).

I was particularly aghast at a recent Dodge Truck (I think it was) ad I saw, which was talking about the truck being "Get out of my way" tough, or something like that.

It's like they're not even trying to be subtle anymore. I'm waiting for somebody to make a big pickup truck and just call it the Road Rage.

Great to see this wonderful sport being (sorta) promoted! In Dodges defense, they did sponsor the Tour de Georgia, looked like it was a pretty cool event! If you missed it, you can check that out at http://www.tourdegeorgia.org
