some do, many don't.

Reason is that many people don't keep up on the latest in hardware technologies, and don't want to go through a huge learning session everytime they want a new machine.

I'm fine with that learning, so I roll my own. All I need now is a new case....I'm debating going rackmount.

So what's the BF discount? It better be something like 95% off the fell-off-the-back-of-the-truck price.

Watercooling was why I wanted to go rackmount....I'm tempted to install multiple independent loops. I was looking at using a small automotive intercooler as a radiator, and using a staging resevoir as the "Pull" area for the pumps. Fans will be in the back of the rack to force air through this all.

the way I will have it setup will require pumps with a good amount of head...The hopes is to have gravity do it's thing feeding the warm liquid through the intercooler.

It won't be done for a good long time though, as waterblocks are rather expensive, plus the rack will have to be modded to fit my specs as well.

Most of my business has been with students looking for something to take to college.

The 2nd rig I built was a $12000 no expense spared job.

It had an 2 Intel Core 2 Quad Core Processors and four liquid cooled video cards.

Cooling fans and liquid cooling loops on everything, even the RAM.

I called it "Big Red", even though it was blue :p

The BF discount of the day is free shipping. :D

+1. It's a serious time commitment to relearn what you miss out on if you take a long time between builds.

I'm going rackmount with my next build - my stereo equipment is already going in there, so it just makes sense.

Good luck tugger. I built in high school and made some decent cash.

Sounds cool. How much do you usually make on each rig?

Anywhere from -$50 to +$100 USD depending on the person and build, plus extra stuff like overclocking services (Complete CPU, GPU(s), RAM and System Buses with Optimized Memory Timings for $20) and maintenance plans (Cleanings, Rebuilds, and Component Scans every three months for 5 years for $50).

Nearly the same as the PC i'm going to be assembling myself soon enough, with a couple of upgrades. Too bad it's an AMD, that just kills it for me.

Well, what's your budget?

If I have a number, I can come up with a build list for you.
