So, should I get the Jim C pedals or the hoffman sole mates?

JC's.

Hello Queens.

I want to say Jim Cs, simply because I've been using them for years with no issues, but I'm really liking the way those new Hoffman pedals look; I'll probably swap to those next time around, at least until the plastic JCs come out.

I've thought about trying the new Hoffman's out, but they're to much cash around here. If they were like $30 at my shop, I would give it a go but they're $80 instead.

Beerman, stupid question here but why JC's in plastic? Weight?

1) Shins.
2) I'm pretty sure that they'll slide better (and last longer) than Jim C. Mags.

Damn it's been awhile!

Anywho JC's have my vote. Even though i really like my Wellgo Mg-52's. But you can't pedal grind with them.

its a toss up. the jc's have proven themselves through time but i really like the sole mates. best pin design right now...besides maybe the shadow pedals.

Three of my bikes have purple pedals.

I like the contrast they make.

Maybe you are just fascinated by the color purple. They don't look like they would work good. But if they do, I guess that's 4 pedals to consider.

It's not that shade of purple though.

The Shadows do come in other colors, they're just in the "select from available options" drop-down menu

I would go with the Jim C's there alot cheaper to save you and extra $30-$40.

FitRider 921

You have no idea what you are talking about. They don't save you $30-$40 unless you buy unsealed on one, and sealed on the other... you always save a lot from getting unsealed pedals rather than sealed pedals.
