I need to find a new route to the location my work is moving. I started a thread in commuting, maybe some of you that know the area can help. I really need to make this as short as I can without riding on Redwood or State, and I'm not familiar enough with the West Side to know which roads are safe enough to ride on. Any tips? Here's the other thread, if you could head over and give me a pointer or two I'd appreciate it.

Hey Kemmer, I gave you some bad info before, 2100 So frontage is good but 5600 west is not, at least until you get as far north as 1300(California), Bikes aren't allowed on Bangerter, so I will go and drive this and see how it looks,
would like to help.
I know you would do the same.
Crossing I80 at 5600 West may be an issue.
Is there a west bound bike route on North temple area? I have been told there is a network of trails there, on the north side.
Do you have Google Earth?
Can you access the parkway?

I got this one customer, who cant ride the whole way, so he hauls in on the car part way and parks at a tracks station, then rides.

So he parks at trax and goes west? I could take trax to the end of the line and from there use the path that goes around the airport. It sounds like that's about the only way to do it. Thanks for the info, one of these days I need to ride out and explore around, maybe monday.

Well, he goes south, but thats a long story.
Nephew tells me Trax has Bike racks now, I wouldn't know, I do see a bunch of trail stuff down there, both from the road and on Google earth.
