Before we get into color, a little background information. I spoke with Chad from Portland Cyclewear, he was very helpful and I have heard only good things about his product. You can see their website here
http://www.portlandcyclewear.com/woolcyclingjersey.html
I tried emailiing and I left messages for Woolistic with no reply. I figure they don't want our money.

We can mix and match different jersey colors, long or short sleeve and even the color of the logo any way we want and get price breaks at 12 and 30 jerseys. I think we can easily get the 12 and maybe we can get to 30, we'll see. So in this thread, in addition to the above question, I would like suggestions for logo colors.

These are the base jersey choices, as I said above, you can choose any color that floats your boat, Chad says they all count towards the total.

Short sleeve examples

The logo can be flocked or embroidery. With flocked, there are only 7 color choices;black, white, red, royal blue, navy blue, emerald green and maize yellow. With embroidery, there are 30 color choices, more variations of what is listed. Custom flock will add $6 to the base jersey cost, custom embroidery will add $13 (with an outline) or $12 (without an outline) to the base jersey cost. I would like to choose either flocking, embroidery or embroidery with an outline, Chad won't mix and match that process.

Base pricing for 12-29 jerseys, without shipping, is as follows:
Short sleeve - $46.50
Long sleeve - $51.00

Base pricing for 30+ jerseys, without shipping, is as follows:
Short sleeve - $39.50
Long sleeve - $43.00

A short sleeve jersey with flocking could be as low as $45.50 and a long sleeve jersey with embroidery could be as high as $64.00, depending on your choices and how many total are purchased.

Click on the website link to see an example of the embroidery with outline. That looks great and gets my vote.

I like long sleeve. Colors will be tough. I doubt if they have Coppertone and White! How about basic Black and White?

Wool is the greatest material. It doesn't stink after the 1st ride like the new materials. Started in the day when all jerseys were wool. I still buy wool when it is reasonable. Also, wool doesn't seem to overheat on a warm day.

I just hope we get this all figured out for some cool spring riding!

The website says order Feb 1, get the jerseys in April. I will try to speed this up a bit... VOTE! ;)

I'm in for a short sleeve at either price point. How many option-choosing threads are left before you start taking orders?

Probably one unless there are a lot of protests. I would like to present a few options for each or the jersey colors, black, blue and red. I would like to give Chad one one logo color option per each color of jersey. Any more than three different logo colorations, we may loose his good graces.

I'd be in for at least one long sleave in any color.

Thanks,

Matt

I lean toward the long sleeve. Basic black & white sounds good though any of them except the second one with the red stripe works. I prefer embroidery but if everyone wants to save a few $ with flocking I'm jake with that too. How do they size? and do we have to order groups by size?

I think embroidery, somehow I can see flocking pilling and wearing off
after a few seasons.
Long sleeved, black and white. Classic absolute classic.
(and I'm sticking this thread).

A quick update, there are a couple more colors than I listed. In addition to the jerseys below, there is a navy blue with red stripe (the opposite of what is above.

Also, some of the colors in certain styles and sizes are selling out. I will hurry this along and start doing colors without swatches from Chad and fake it when they do arrive. Go to the website, go to Order Here, pick a style and on the right are the sizes, it will tell you there what sizes are sold out.

Embroidery does sound right for Classic & Vintage, but it's all good. I'll go with whatever is available.

+1 Especially the waist hem. I hope we don't get a hem like the green one. That would kill it for me.
