Build a design out of about 400 apples into a patterned display. :p
I can finish absolutely nothing in 10 minutes. I am slow and lazy.

I can sit and watch you build a design out of 400 apples into a display in 10 minutes. ;)

Run 2 miles.
Are you serious? Unless you are 6'4" or taller I don't think you can. The pros average a 4:20 mile on a 10k run. You must be close to being a front tier road racer.
Edit: or a soccer player. They can fun forever.

Yea I'm having trouble believing he can run two consecutive 5 minute miles.

You're joking right? Plenty of good high school runners can cover 2 miles in 10 minutes. I could do it as a Sophomore. I'm 5'9" - was an inch or two shorter then.

i can get a tire
mounted and back on the bike

Change a flat on both a car or a bicycle, but I cheat with the car and use an impact wrench and a mounted spare.

Guess you are right.
Steve Prefontaine -
However, his junior and senior years proved highly successful, with Prefontaine winning every meet, including states, and setting a national high school record his senior year in the two mile race with a time of 8:41.5.

Yea I'm having trouble believing he can run two consecutive 5 minute miles.
same here, dont want to be rude thought but it seems a little exagerated, all the races i do the winner is a 5 minutes mile and usually a VERY thin fast teanager :)
*edit* unless you're talking running this fast once for 2 miles then maybe, but doing a race for longer then 2 miles... I dont know, seems exagerated to me.
Well he is in really good shape. So it is possible.
In my prime I couldn't do better than a 6:00 mile. :(

You're pretty damn fast then! My 5k runs go 23-24 min: sub 8 min. miles. That's pretty fast for me.
Yes, he's fast, but that's far from unbelieveable. Back when 2 miles was a distance that was run in High School meets, 10:00 would probably earn your team points in Districts/Sectionals/Regionals (whatever you call it in your state), but wouldn't be fast enough to send you to the state championship. (I grew up in New York, so maybe it would have been good enough in a smaller state.) There's gotta be at least 10,000 people in the US who could run that fast, and if Michigander says he's one of them, I have no difficulty taking hs word for it.

My best 10k is 46:24. That was with a hard honking tailwind pushing me along the whole way ... it'll never happen again!
same here my best time for 5 k was 21 and it got me third place and I couldnt of run any faster then that.
but hey.. I sipped my coffee and Im taken that back, if he says he does 2 miles in 10 then who am I to doubt that?
good for you michigander but if that was me, Id be lining up in every races I could find with that gift.
Ok so anyways, I just realized I can do other stuff in 10 minutes besides unsuccessfully put palm leaves in my rims as rim tape.
I can watch tv and realize that everything on tv sucks in 10 minutes.

If you consider 19 past your prime, you've got a LOOOOOONG, boring, unhappy life ahead of you. And at 19 you're still a boy in many ways so don't get your (pink) panties in a wad!
In 10 minutes I can plan a flight and file a flight plan. Maybe get weather, too, depending on how much of it there is.

I'm also having a hard time believing the 2 miles claim.
I don't think the 2 mile run claim is that far-fetched. When I was in high school, I did 2 miles in 10:50. I wasn't even that great of a runner, I just went balls to the wall. 10 mins doesn't seem so unbelievable.

I was talking about my physical prime, meaning when I was in my best shape. In cross country in HS. I'm a very inexperienced runner at this point, so I don't know how feasible 2 miles in 10 minutes is. Just sounds fast to me.
