You race?

Man even if i raced i wouldn't get a bike that light and weak.

I'd go for like a...

.38 Special
XLT Pitchforks
XLT Slams
XLT Race stem
Profile cranks
Profile hubs to Rhynolites
Coalition seat
Fit post
Welllgo Mg-1's
And some Comp III's!!!

The last time we tried this "fantasy bikecheck", it didn't work. Why do you think it would work now?

What's wrong with racing?

If you get bad enough and grow up terrible you can always start a bike shop outta your trailer!

trails is sort of like racing, just more flowy and tricks. a little.

FuzzyRyder
02-12-07, 09:36 PM
I wouldn't mind flowing through a nice smooth track at speed. There dosen't have to be tricks involved to make riding fun, although you could do tricks on the track haha.

Agree, it would be fun, although I don't think the jumps would have much kick at the top.

If you go to a good track, there are some pretty large jumps...

At the track I ride at, there aren't HUGE jumps, but a few pretty nice sized ones...There's also an awesome six-pack with some good sized jumps

I've got my own six pack.

That's one thing crutches would help you with...
Right?

FitRider 921
02-15-07, 04:25 PM
No, crutches help your triceps tremendously, and it is a bit of cardio. But, I don't really use my crutches anymore... they are just for show.

From what i hear Campy headsets suck. I think the FSA's are the best. I have a Kink and it's been good to me so far.

As for the frame good luck getting a custom Fly. The Take could probly make you that custom frame seeing as how one of the people i ride with sometimes got his Ivy with chainstay brake mounts.

Also Kinetic: I emailed Fly and they said they could make one, it just costs more. I also have the kink headset and just wanted to try something new :p.

But ti spokes is a bit over the line. Do you really want your wheels to flex like madd?

You worry too much. It's not your bike so meh.

Besides if he's smooth enough they wont flex much if any. The Ti spokes and expensive stuff is his MTB side coming out

FuzzyRyder

The kink headset is exactly the same as the FSA without the FSA logo.

Pretty much.

Hell, the forks I ran on my MTB were worth well more then my full bike.

Bwahaha. So...bikeguide. Does that really work though i just can't see how you could get enough traction. Especialy riding anything wet, muddy or once the grip wears down at all.
