Mountain Biking - I'm getting my Specialized Hardrock Comp next week!!!

I can't wait! My first mountain bike. I'm using it for around the neighborhood, and for trail riding. This is going to be fun!!

hmmmmm..... I was leaning toward Red; but I like the black as well. It has red lettering. The black would kind of go along with my Black Mica MAZDASPEED. If it had silver lettering; I'm sure I would go with the black. Decisions :confused:

.......funny thing; a friend of mine called last night telling me he just went out yesterday and bought a TREK 4900. Man! This is gong to be fun!

Congrats on the new ride! I have had nothing but a good time with mine. The black one looks great. The only bad thing is that theres no taking off the stickers, they are either painted on or stuck on then cleared over :(. When you get it i want to see some action pictures.

As far as I know there are tricks...most people that get the bighit remove the stickers immediately..so there must be a way :)

No.... I won't be attempting to remove my decals.

Well; No Black ones. Specialized has no Hardrock Comps in 23" frame, so I ordered Red, along with the Specialized Allez helmet, and Cateye Enduro 8 cyclocomputer. It should arrive on Thursday.

Now; the Bike Rack.... The spoiler on my MAZDASPEED is too tall for the 'Bones' rack by Saris. A friend of mine has one he is letting me borrow (possibly buy), but we already tried on my car (no luck), so I think I will mount it on my wife's Protege - at least to get my bike home.

I looked another Saris rack (Guardian 3) - $110.00), the Bike shop had, that actually holds (3) bikes, and it does clear the spolier on my car.

Anyone have this rack? It might be my best choice, with the exception of a roof rack. Thanks!

Red, red is the color of Specialized..If you buy Specialized, buy red.
