So I'm planning to take my "friend" out on Wednesday (like most people are, I'm sure) for Valentine's Day.

I make reservations at a nice local restaurant called O'Bistro. Then I remember that a friend of mine told me, once, about getting good discount gift certificates for many restaurants on a website called www.restaurant.com.

So I check it out, and O'Bistro is on there. They have a $25 gift certificate for $10. As I'm checking out, I see a spot for a discount code. So I open another tab and google for restaurant.com coupons and score with "GMA" which is 50% discount.

Now I get a $25 gift certificate which I only paid $5 for.

How cool is that?

You all might want to check it out.....you can type in your zip code and restaurants all over the US are in there.

Wow cool! I'm going to see if I can score something like that for myself! Thanks, KT!

$5 for $25?

It's hard to see how any of the involved businesses are making money off that deal.

They make the money when you come back.

The problem with some of those free eatery sites is that a number inundate you with spam, and their policy to get off their mailing lists is to write them via snail mail.

This is what multiple yahoo/gmail/hotmail/etc accounts were invented for. :D

Once your past the age of 25 or so, things like that don't bother men or women anymore. No worries.

Exactly, when you're married with 3 kids (and not rich), frugality can be a turn-on :D

Hey - discrimination! There aren't any coupons for San Rafael de Guatuso! I don't understand, why, we have a couple of places to eat - why one of them even has chinese food (with cilantro in everything by the way).

Oh, that explains it, we don't even have a zipcode... :D
