A woman lost control of her bicycle, fell into the path of oncoming traffic and was struck by a vehicle Sunday morning while riding in Los Alto Hills, Santa Clara County Sheriff Sgt. Edward Wise reported today.
The 38-year-old woman suffered a dislocated hip, a fractured pelvis and lacerations to her pelvis during the accident at 11:15 a.m. Sunday, Wise reported.
The accident occurred on Elena Road next to the Foothill College campus, Wise said. The woman was riding with a group of about 15 other cyclists, but was too far ahead of the group for the others to witness the accident.
Anyone have any more details?
