RIDERS READY, PEDALS STEADY, GO!. Well hello, here is my intro, i started my life of bikes in south london, thankfully my mother and father had the good sence to move to somerset where i still live. certain members of that community decided to build a BMX track on a disused railway line at the back of our houses in wells (it was mega) the longest track in the south west and host to some of the best racing of that time (1986-), i know, i was there at the front of my age group 11 through to 16. having the track on my door step was an obvious advantage. After that i drifted into motorcycle trials riding and trained as a mechanic in bristol (1992) aged 18. i have been a bike mechanic and quite serious rider ever since. i currently work for cycles maximus building pedicabs and load carrying trikes, take a look at cyclesmaximus.com to see what we're up to. we make some mad prototype electric two wheelers for fun on the side ( just ask for pics ). so there it is..... if i loved bikes anymore i would get my knob caught in my chain.

Hello manytrix, you know, we have a moderator here who currently has an avatar that almost captures the essence of that....*

I don't remember a BMX track in Wells, but then again, I was there to look at the Cathedral the last time we were there, and didn't have much time for anything else. Next time, I guess.

At any rate, it sounds as if you love cycling, so

Welcome to BF!
