Foo - I needs me a watch

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Mainly, it's gotta have programmable intervals. It'd be great if I could program in a few and select one according to what I'm doing. I'd also like to have multiple split times.
I saw some Timex jobber (http://www.amazon.com/Timex-T-51931-Mens-Watch/dp/B00006I5YG) on Amazon that fit the bill, but I'd like to see what the Foo Collective Conciousness has to recommend. Plus that Timex watch looks too freaking clunky and cartoonish. Do people actually make watches that are highly functional and look good? And, of course, money IS an object...
Dazzle me, Foo!

This is a little more up my alley (http://chelseawatches.com/product/B000KGKPMC/Merchant/Timex-Ironman-Triathlon-Black-.htm). Except for the 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 bull**** on the outside face. I know how to read a ****ing watch you turds!

Why do you need such a fancy-schmancy watch when all you going to do with it is time the intervals between your bouts of flatulence? :D

Repeatability. I try to count seconds, minutes but get distracted. Especially when the smell hits. I'm trying to streamline my operation.

Well, that makes sense. The hallmark of a devoted scientist is repeting an experiment severl times to make sure the results are accurate. And if you're trying to streamline your operation, you cannot be seen in a clunky, non-fashionable time piece. You might also want one that is flame-resistant, or at least methane-resistant.
I should know better that to ever doubt your methods or motivation.

Whoah, there. You just bumped the price up an order of magnitude. If it's cheap enough, I can always just replace it when the components degrade from methane exposure.

Yer damn skippy! I wish more people would adopt your philosophy.
