God, I LOVE it when that happens.

Here's to another lonesome V-day tomorrow!

I'm in Florida and my wife is in West Virginia. Mine's going to be lonely as well.

Happens all the time around here. I go to a university with a 3:1 ratio of guys to girls. Single women are quite rare, but I always keep my eyes open and my fingers crossed. :)

You have to keep the pursuit...women love that, just don't become stalkerish. Show her attention that she's lacking and you'll win her over.

Every girl has a future ex-boyfriend.

Please, no whining. I went to a school with a 60 to 1 male to female ratio and I got one anyway. She liked my legs. Don't let people tell you cycling is a waste of time.

Apparently I had met this fool at a group dinner before, too.

I would have known, but they didn't even ACT like a couple when they were around each other. That tells me that either their relationship is new, or their relationship is on the rocks.

After dinner we went to a upscale night club and that fool got kicked out of line for wearing sneakers. WHO THE HELL WEARS SNEAKERS WHEN THEY GO TO A CLASSY JOINT?

To make a long story short, she was all-up-ons that night so I assumed she was available. I got her number (yes, this is the same girl from a previous post) and have been talking for a few days. Today I was like "So what are you doing tomorrow?"

"Oh, whatever my BOYFRIEND has in store for me"

WHAT THE SHIZ?!

Man, what a crappy feeling. Anyone ever have that reaction "OMG, she's going out with THAT guy?"

That's good advice, SingleSpeeDemon, but I'd rather not be the "bad guy" in this case.

You don't have to be the 'bad guy'. If you're subtle and gentlemanly, you can be the 'good guy' and eventually...the boyfriend.

+1. Something that I think our modern society lacks is a concept of how to act like a gentleman around a woman who's already in a relationship, even if it is "on the rocks."
