I want to punch my ex in the gut and make fun of how her life is now in the ****ter because she decided to cheat and get pregnant by some 29 year old guy.

Instead I'll probably just make fun of her, I don't believe in hurting babies.

I figure it was one that probably started it (probably Hallmark).

First Valentine's Day since my wife and I separated (amicable, no divorce in the offing, reconcilliation possible though not likely) and I'm pretty ambivalent. I've always hated these Hallmark holidays, but it does remind me of the hole in my life.

But I agree with Velo Vol that we Foosters can have our own love-fest here (purely Platonic and highbrow - I'll save my usual crass double entendres for other threads :rolleyes: ). So, hugs to all, men and women alike (except for those of you who prefer handshakes) and sincere love and best wishes to everyone.

I like how even forums that are generally safe from such advertising (like sports talk radio) suddenly become filled with spots for jewelery, day spas, candy, and the like. I guess the listenership is only expected to shell out for romance once a year.

We had Velotine's Day (http://bikeportland.org/2007/02/13/cyclists-smitten-on-velotines-day/) in Portland today. Much more fun than Valentine's Day, I think.

Although I have a steady sweetie, it's not really an arrangement that takes me out of the "single" category. I'm beginning to wonder about it, frankly.

I like making valentines for my friends and loved ones - you know, the kind with lacy paper doilies, red construction paper, and glitter. Not particularly commercial, I know, but I've been called eccentric for far more unusual practices.

Work has been sucking up my life tremendously, so I didn't make them this year. But if I had, you all would have received one. :)

Oh well, this year I will be celebrating lonely valentine....Again!!! except this time I will have you guys and gals to accompany me...Yayyyyy.

Well since me celebrating Valentine as this age is practically impossible (comparing to my other friends) because oddly enough, I am interested into girls from different religion, this I believe is the main factor why its hard girls to accept me, I dont mind having a gf from different religion but they seem to have problem with me, since im a Muslim and all. And its very rare to see 2 different religion teenagers dating. The sadness in my heart.

P.S : Im still proud in being a muslim although of this shortcomings. Please dont be offended at all okay?

Being Muslim is not a shortcoming or a disorder. It's a way of life, and if you're one of the dedicated practicing Muslims, I commend you for your faith and devotion.
