Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Can't Order -- IRO Bulk Order

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I hate to start a thread just for this, but I've been trying to get a hold of someone at IRO for four days with no luck. Has anyone been able to order through IRO's website for the past week or so? The deadline is quickly approaching and I can't get my deposit in. Is anyone in the same boat? Has anyone reached IRO via phone?
I want my frame! :C

Well, it sounds like the OP did call IRO, but no one is answering. The OP wants to know if someone else has had the same problem.

that's where the + persistence part comes in. people have mentioned this all over all of the IRO threads, having a hard time with the order. and people always have a hard time reaching IRO, probably because they are a very small operation and lots of people call.
OP, just keep calling and send an email or two. you'll get through eventually.

For the 32476234109807th time, this is the Singlespeed And Fixed Gear forum, not the IRO Customer Service and Support forum.

Well IRO just got a foot or more of snow...maybe they aren't at work. Be patient...and maybe you can have mine if you want a green 56cm. :D

i called IRO yesterday and put my deposit in with tony. they answered on the second ring around lunchtime.
if the 917 number doesn't work, try the 570 one (the tech line) and they'll transfer you over.
I ordered an Angus on 2/2 and checked the site last Thurs for an updated status and found their shopping cart servers down. Its been the same since. But as others have said, just continue calling them. They use Zen Cart, an opensource shopping cart program for their orders.
Its my first experience with IRO but i'm not worried. They seem to be a small outfit. I know it will arrive eventually. I'm having a custom paint job done by a friend anyways and it won't see pavement until late March.
Curious. Has anyone visited their current setup in PA? How many folks work there?

Big deal, I just drove 280 miles right thru the heart of the storm.
I dig Tony, think he's about the straightest shooter going but for the life of me can't understand the lack of customer interfacing. An answering machine would be a step forward.
