Greetings all-Stumbled across this forum on Mark Livingood's master link page. So nice to see everyone being nice to each other! Must be a tandem thing. Anyways, my wife and I are avid tandem riders. We enjoy road riding of all types-self-contained touring, day touring, pretty much everything except racing. Current steed is a 4 year old Trek T-100 set up as a road bike, but I've got new tandem fever! Thats all for now-George Handy-

Greetings George H.! We enjoy much of the same tandem exploits. We ride a Cannondale RT3000. We're planning a TransAm ride within the next couple of years. Our route will be from west to east (Florence OR to Yorktown VA). We haven't decided if we'll do it self contained our with auto (RV) support. We're not a super strong team but have a respectable amount of miles under our tires. We just gear down and plug along when needed. :D
Hi George, Brad from Dallas here. You should hook up with the club we joined (if you're not a member already). We dont know a lot of members yet but, the ones we've met so far have all been pretty nice folk. I'm finding out that most of the club rides end up being on Sundays. Look into the below site.

Hi Brad-My wife and I joined DATES last year, but have yet to make any of their rides! We are very active with the Lone Star Cyclists club here ( I am the ride co-ordinator) and ride with them on Saturdays, so Sunday tends to be our 'off' day. We have met a lot of the members, though, and they are indeed very nice (it's that tandem thing again!) Look for us on our blue Trek! George-
