OK, I must have been living under a rock or something ..... but I just found out today that daylight savings time will come into effect on March 11th, instead of sometime in April like it used to.

I'm afraid that weekend won't work for me. They'll have to reschedule it to the following weekend!!

How will this affect your end of winter cycling? I guess it gives more daylight after work which is a good thing. Maybe, just maybe, the weather will have improved enough so that I might be able to go for a short ride after work by then. We'll see.

One thing it will do for me is give me almost an extra month of base building for this year.

I switched to metric lunar timing during the Y2K debacle. It's been great, takes awhile to adjust though.

I'll lose an hour's sleep when I need it most?

It shouldn't affect me. Lights on in the morning, probably just blinkies in the afternoon.

Central Standard Time makes it not a factor :)

However I'm enjoying the daylight during my rides now.
