i hope you have 400 dollars your willing to drop on it

im constructing one myself actually thats coming along quite nicely, i'll post pics when its complete im using two full size skateboard decks, the back is held in place by skateboard trucks in the dopouts and hooks attached to the spindle. THe front will be a block of wood connected to the skateboard deck and a nother block of wood nailed on top of that, in between the two blocks of wood i will be putting an axle for it to go into the fork dropouts and bunji (sp?) chord so it can pivot up and down but will go back into place

Doing a nice looking weld while having good penetration and stuff is.

You could just bird**** it and have it hold.

kinetik, you didnt do anything.

hwen i mean pivot i mean kind like a wheel. but pretend the wheel is a ski, so the ski rotates aroudn the axle

To do anything well generally takes patience and practice. When I was your age, I was teaching the other kids in my shop class how to weld.

I've welded for about 5 minutes once. Can't really comment based on that...

I don't like masks. Not cool.

I use welding goggles if I'm just going to be welding for a short time, if longer then an hour it's the masks all the way.

Getting a tan from those goggles sucks.

I never tried welding... don't really want to. I hate fire/heat. Ovens scare me.

I'm a little bit afraid of the ocean. I like staying dry, although snorkeling can be kind of fun.

I've done two dives at the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. Even bought an underwater camera just for the trip.
